Dear UTHS Students and Parents,

College Board has released an update regarding the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exam administration for Spring 2020. For this year only, students that have already signed up for the AP exams will be able to take them at home using a personal computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. Please see below for a list of highlights regarding exams and other support for students.

Exam Registration 

• The AP exam late registration deadline passed Friday, March 13th.
• Even with the new online administrationfor Spring 2020, College Board is NOT accepting new exam registrations.

Exam Updates 

• Students will be able to take the AP Exam from home on any digital device.
• AP exams will be streamlined and only 45 minutes in length.
• AP exam content will cover the first 75% of the course (content most teachers covered by early March).
• For each AP subject, there will be two different testing dates.
• College Board will assist students that do not have digital access. Please complete the College Board survey.
• Information about the reduced scope of content that will be covered on each 2020 AP exam is currently posted on AP Central®.
• The specific test dates and the free-response question types will be posted by April 3rd.

Free Tutorials

• Starting Wednesday, March 25th, College Board will provide FREE, online tutorials.
• Please visit AP Student for a list of dates and times for each subject as the reviews become available.
