The Basics

The Recommended Program requires 26 credits. Students must complete four credits in each core area: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, two credits in the same world language, one credit in PE and Fine Arts, a half credit of speech and five and a half credits in electives. Students choose their courses using the Recommended Plan PGP.

Additionally, students must pass STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) exams in English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Biology, and US History. Exams are taken the year the student is enrolled in the course.
