Kathy Brendel received her B.S. in Education Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in art from Texas A&M University, College Station. She is entering her 11th year as an art instructor in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Brendel is the Fine Arts Chairman at her current school. She recently acquired her certification to teacher English to Foreign Learners. Mrs. Brendel’s art students have placed significantly high in competitions throughout the state over the years. Volunteer work has played a key role in her life for over 40 years. She was a board member in the Junior League, Aggie Club, and Symphony. Mrs. Brendel is married to a talented doctor who has a passion for flying. When she is not painting, you will find her on an airplane bound for Los Angeles to see her son.
