Lead Counselor
Malisa Barnes has been working in education for more than 20 years. Her experience ranges from middle school and high school Family & Consumer Science teacher to high school counseling. She received her B.S. in Interior Design from Judson College and her M.Ed. from Dallas Baptist University. Mrs. Barnes enjoys building relationships with her students and their families. She is passionate about helping students make the best decisions now that will help them reach their future goals. Mrs. Barnes is married and has two adult sons. She enjoys crafting, making earrings, sublimation items, gardening, and painting in her free time.
