Fall Semester Starts Monday, August 21, 2023
Full time students enrolled at UT High School and UT International High School begin the fall semester on Monday, August 21, 2023. We're looking forward to a great start to the 2023-24 school year!
UTHS's expanded course catalog includes new courses such as AP PreCalculus and Computer Science, plus more Honors and Career Technology Education courses. We're preparing for many curriculum and program enhancements and looking forward to continuing to hear from students and parents about which types of enhancements they prefer.
Synchronous Live Lessons and Office Hours
Starting week two, we'll launch weekly online synchronous Live Lessons for core on-level courses and online synchronous Office Hours for core on-level and honors/AP courses. Students can participate in these additional live, synchronous activities to learn key concepts and ask questions directly online with a UTHS certified teacher leading the sessions. The links to the Live Lessons and Office Hours will be added to students' Canvas courses by week two for easy access.
For more information, parents and students can log in to the Back-to-School webinars during week one and students can also read about the synchronous learning opportunities in their Welcome Module in their Advisory Course during the first day of school. Fall Kick-off and Back-to-School Webinars
We encourage students and parents to login for the Fall Kick-off Webinar to learn key information to prepare for the first day of school, and to login to the Fall Back-to-School webinar during the first week of school to learn more detailed information for essential topics regarding course grades and such.

Student Success Series Webinars
We'll continue the Student Success Series Webinars again this school year to provide students and parents ongoing support for key topics (e.g., study skills, time management, college applications, etc.) throughout the school year. These webinars are held on Tuesdays at 12:00 CST and typically last about 30 minutes. Recordings remain accessible anytime via website links. Please view our webpage for more information about the topics and schedule for Student Success Series Webinars for 2023-24 and to view prior sessions. We encourage both students and parents to participate.
