Math Teacher
Katherine Romer joined UT High School in 2026 as a mathematics teacher. She earned her master's degree in mathematics from Tarleton State University and has three years of high school teaching experience, along with experience teaching Business Mathematics at the college level. She enjoys helping students build confidence in math, celebrate their growth, and discover that they are capable of more than they think. Outside of teaching, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring the outdoors, taking walks with her dog, tackling home improvement projects, and cheering on her favorite Detroit sports teams.
