Veronica Romero joined UT High School in 2026, bringing over two decades of experience teaching Science, Engineering, and Computer Science at the secondary level. A dedicated scholar and educator, Veronica is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Curriculum & Instruction in STEM at Texas Tech University. She earned her master's and bachelor's degree in biology from University of Texas - Pan American.
Outside of the classroom , Veronica is committed to advancing the computer science field through research and educator support. She regularly leads professional development initiatives focused on Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence Integration, and Engineering Design. Veronica is a proud softball mom, enjoys spending time with family, and exploring emerging AI technologies.
