Amy Smith joined UTHS in the summer of 2022. Amy was a classroom teacher for 12 years where she taught middle school and high school math. Amy also taught math in summer school for several summers. Math was always a favorite subject and she looks forward to helping UTHS students develop and improve their math skills. Reading was always another interest which led Amy to earn her master’s degree in educational technology with a librarian certification and she then became a school librarian in 2017. She enjoys spending time with her two fur babies, reading, crafts, yoga, and watching her niece and nephew play soccer.
