High school student on campus

The UT High School full-time virtual school students begin classes on Monday, August 23. We're excited to welcome many new students into both the UT High School for Texas residents and the UT International High School for non-Texas residents this year. We're experiencing many late applications for enrollment and we appreciate your patience as we review students' records and plan students' schedules as quickly as possible. Students will be able to log in to their online courses beginning Monday morning.

Students: Be sure to plan your daily schedule so you log in to each of your courses Monday through Friday. Plan to spend at least five to seven hours per week on each course. Our asynchronous online instructional model provides flexibility, but that doesn't mean it takes less time to complete a course. It's essential that you work on each of your courses every week and submit your assignments by the UTHS Course Pacing Guide deadlines. You're required to finish your coursework and finals by the end of the semester. You can work ahead if you want and even take your finals a little early.

Parents: Be sure to check-in with your student routinely and ask them to show you their progress in their online courses. They can show you what they're learning, their assignments, interactive notebook, and graded work.

Please join us for a Back-to-School Webinar during the first week of school to hear some more helpful tips from our UTHS leaders.
