Amy Powell holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in School Counseling from UT Tyler. She is certified in Math, Physics, Engineering, and School Counseling. She has over 10 years of experience as a high school teacher and elementary counselor, plus two years as an adjunct professor. In addition to her position at UT High School, she serves as an instructional designer for educational technology products. Passionate about helping students grasp and enjoy physics, engineering, and technology, Ms. Powell is also a mother of three who loves camping and hiking with her children.
