Science Teacher
Andrea Bucko joined the UTHS Empower Team at the beginning of 2025 as their Science Specialist. With a BS in Chemical Biology and an MA in Instruction and Curriculum, she has spent 6 years in a traditional high school setting before venturing into adult education. Andrea has taught most every science, including forensics, chemistry, aquatics, and anatomy. In her spare time, you can find her paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, hiking with her dogs, or playing disc golf at one of Austin’s many parks.
