Assistant Superintendent
Dr. Michael Caudill joined the UTHS family in the summer of 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience spanning more than three decades in education. His journey includes a distinguished tenure of over six years as a dedicated mathematics teacher and coach, followed by a decade-plus serving as a principal across elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Additionally, he has accumulated over a decade in central office and assistant superintendent roles, where he oversaw diverse portfolios including technology integration, safety protocols, district behavior coordination, gifted and talented programs, counseling services, special education, and alternative educational initiatives.
Dr. Caudill holds a solid academic foundation with a B.Ed. and M.Ed. from Southwest Texas State University, complemented by an M.Ed. and Ed.D. earned from The University of Texas at Austin. His passion for educational leadership is matched only by his commitment to empowering students and fostering a supportive environment conducive to learning. Eager to contribute his extensive knowledge and skills, Michael is dedicated to advancing UT High School's innovative approach to achieving educational excellence and nurturing student success.
