Social Studies Learning Specialist
Jamie Lynn Jones joined UT High School in 2023. She is certified to teach social studies in grades 7-12 in Texas. She has nine years of experience teaching various social studies courses including AP US History, U.S. History, A.P. Human Geography, World History, and World Geography in Corpus Christi ISD and IDEA Public Schools. She has also been an AP reader for U.S. History the last four years. Jamie Lynn graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in History. She received her training in education through the UTeach Liberal Arts program. She also has her M.A. in History from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She enjoys traveling, being outside, and being around friends and family.
