With 13 years of experience in education, Jamie Maples has dedicated 8 years to teaching a variety of subjects, including World Geography, AP Human Geography, World History, AP World History, AP European History, and AVID. For the past five years, she has served as an instructional coach at a high school, empowering educators to enhance their teaching practices. Currently, Jamie is the Senior Coordinator of Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction for a local district, where she focuses on engaging students and equipping them with the skills necessary for success in their future endeavors. Her passion lies in making social studies relevant and accessible, ensuring that students are prepared for life's challenges.
