Integrated Physics and ChemistryBis the secondcourse of a two-semester series. In this course, students will explore the principles that govern the motion of objects in their everyday lives. Students will conduct laboratory and field investigations using safe and appropriate practices. They will also use critical thinking, scientific and mathematical reasoning, and problem solving to make informed decisionsand evaluate scientific evidenct.
Upon completing this course you will be able to:
- collect data with appropriate scientific units and evaluate trends from data using graphical analysis
- use critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem solving to make informed decisions.
- describe the concepts of force and motion that are evident in everyday life.
- compare various forms of energy and understands the impact of energy transfer and energy conservation in everyday life.
Required Course Materials

The final examination is comprehensive; it covers the material from all units. To pass the course, you must receive a grade of 70 percent or better. You can apply to take the Final Exam after 100 percent of your graded assignments have been submitted, and at least 70 percent have been graded and returned to you.
