UTHS students' STAAR scores soared during the 2018-19 academic year. The overall students' passing rates ranged from 97 to 100% on the STAAR End of Course (EOC) exams during the three assessment windows. The state of Texas graduation requirements for public schools require students to pass five EOCs including Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II, and U.S. History. Students have multiple opportunities to pass the exams and receive addiitional support as needed. UTHS students have consistently performed well on STAAR assessments and this year was no exception. The students' hard work on well-designed curriculum facilitated by excellent teachers proved to be a winning combination producing exceptional results on STAAR testing!
