Course Description
This course is designed to prepare you to take and succeed in an AP or college Calculus course. The study of Precalculus and Calculus will prepare you to study and enter exciting fields such as medicine, pharmaceutical engineering, forensic sciences, economics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and computer software engineering just to name a few. This is an online course that will assume mastery of concepts in Algebra II and Geometry.

- Right triangle trigonometry

Required Course Materials
- Math Journal - A small composition notebook or a spiral notebook
- Pencil or pen
- Calculator - a TI 84 plus, a TI 83 or similar
- Internet access and web browser
- Adobe Reader or similar
- Genius Scan or a similar scanner app or device
Final Examination
The final examination is comprehensive; it covers the material from all of the units. To pass the course, you must earn a grade of 70 percent or better. You can apply to take the final exam after 100 percent of your graded assignments have been submitted, and at least 70 percent have been graded and returned to you.
