Carlos Caro

Carlos Caro joined UT High School in 2021. He is certified to teach social studies in grades 8-12 in Texas. Carlos’s teaching experience includes Geography, World History, AP World History, Dual Enrollment U.S. History via South Texas College, AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Microeconomics and Ethnic Studies with an emphasis on Mexican-American history in La Joya ISD, Del Valle ISD and IDEA Public Schools. He later served as the Assistant Principal of Instruction from 2019-2021 at IDEA Montopolis College Prep in Austin, Texas. Carlos graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a B.A. in Social Studies Composite with 8-12 teaching certification and an M.A. in History. He enjoys politics, reading and hiking.
