Instructional Technology Specialist
Clay Taylor joined UT High School in October 2023 as an Instructional Technology Specialist. With a Bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin, Clay's educational journey began with leadership roles in after-school programs at The Boys & Girls Club of the Austin Area and the YMCA of Austin. His passion for education led him to teach English at IDEA Public Schools before transitioning into educational technology, serving as the Educational App Researcher for Alpha Private School in Austin. This experience fueled his enthusiasm for pushing the boundaries of educational innovation in K-12 settings, aligning with the ever-evolving technological landscape. With an unwavering commitment to educational advancement, Clay is eager to contribute his expertise to UT High School's innovative approach to education as they continue to shape the future of learning.
