Lisa Kubon earned a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University and a M.S, in Microbiology from UT Health San Antonio. Ms Kubon holds a Texas teaching certification in Biology, Chemistry, and the general sciences. She has over 25 years teaching experience. This includes teaching grade levels from 6th through 12th grade. She has taught courses in biology, honors biology, AP biology, chemistry, honors chemistry, IPC, medical microbiology, pathophysiology, and anatomy and physiology. Currently, Ms. Kubon teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science to Gifted and Talented students at Luna Middle School in San Antonio. She is married to Joseph for over 27 years and has two children in college, Paige and Alex. She spends her free time with her three Boston Terriers, Patch, Scooter and Wendy.
