Sarah Turner received her B.S. in Secondary Education from East Texas Baptist University with a specialization in Composite Social Studies. She also received her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Tyler with a specialization in Special Education. Currently, Mrs. Turner works for Western Governors University in evaluation working with teaching candidates during their preclinical and demonstration teaching experiences. She taught Social Studies in Texas public schools for 20 years in the areas of AP Macroeconomics, Pre-AP World Geography, US History, World History, World Geography, Economics, and Government. Mrs. Turner is married and currently homeschools her three young children. She enjoys spending time with her church family, being outdoors, cooking, working in the garden, and sewing.
