Geometry
After receiving my B.S. in Mathematics from TWU, I taught math in the high school setting for seven years. Geometry was my main focus, but I have taught Algebra 1 and 2, as well as Geometry Honors. After COVID hit, my husband and I decided to live in Ecuador, and fell into wanderlust. That is when I discovered that I could teach online, and I have enjoyed that for the past 3 years. I love teaching math but the best part is seeing the “lightbulb moment”—the spark, when the student finally gets it. Math is a tough subject, and if I can make it a little bit easier or more fun, I know it was worth it. Some things about me: I have monthly family game days, salty foods, travel (of course), reading fantasy books, and watching mystery shows on TV.
